RV FOR SALE

RV For Sale ~ 24 ft 1987 Ford 350 Travelaire

Get out there and start your next adventure.

Asking just $4700

If you are looking to get into the RV life and don’t want to spend a fortune than check out my RV.

I have had this RV for 19 years as the second owner.

And I can tell you I have had many great times in this thing.

The beautiful thing about this Vehicle is that instead of buying a new model (with the exact same floor plan) For $120,000.

You can get this one for 90% less and spend the rest of your hard earned money actually traveling.

This RV let me travel all over the USA, (47 States) Canada and Mexico. And I was able to afford those trips because I spent my money on those great experiences and not on a brand new over priced RV.

RV Ownership always comes with plenty of upkeep. Even the new RV’s have plenty of maintenance and unfortunately break downs of some kind. Just because you spend 120 Thousand dollars doesn’t mean you are upkeep or hassle free.

Having spent a smaller amount when I purchased this RV allowed me to not stress so much when situations arose. I knew they were going to happen and was well prepared for any situation.

Now with my CAA “RV” membership and having the internet to help me, no matter where I’m at or what my problem is.

Also I am always just a phone call away from help while I’m on the road.

I cant believe how much traveling has changed in the last 15 years. The internet changed everything. It’s so easy now to discover  Weather conditions, Traffic conditions, Locating Parks, Locating major and minor attractions.

Its Awesome!!

My point to all this is…

If you want to spend more time having adventures and creating lifelong memories then this RV is for you.

This RV is in great shape but still needs an owner who doesn’t mind making small repairs or stresses out over little snafoos.

With just a few bucks this RV could be in top notch condition and ready to explore this great continent, many more times.

Features

24 feet long

Ford 350

7.2 liter gas engine

No special licence required to drive this bad boy

Sleeps 6

Couch folds into a bed or you can keep it full time as a bed (what I have done for 15 years)

Kitchen dinette seats 4 and also folds down to sleep 2.

Upper bunk over driver seat also sleeps 2 very comfortably.

Full bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and Tub (comes in handy with kids)

Kitchen includes:

Fridge with small freezer. This unit is a 3 way unit.

  1. It runs on electricity when plugged in at your camp site
  2. Runs on Propane when no electricity is available
  3. Also runs off of 12 volt, while your RV is driving down the road

Dual kitchen sink

4 Bunner stove

Lower Oven for baking fresh cookies for all your friends around the fire.

Microwave

This RV has a very decent amount of counter space for preparing meals (not a feature on most RV’s)

Water heater for kitchen clean up and bathroom use

15 gallon tank for fresh water

15 gallon grey water

Plenty of cupboard space for all your kitchen supplies both above and below the counters

4 person dinette for indoor meals and side chair for comfortable entertaining.

Also a major plus is an extra window to flood the entire RV with daylight and marvellous views

Passenger seat also revolves for a gathering for 6 people around the kitchen area

Don’t worry about temperatures indoors. This RV comes with a rooftop Air Conditioner and heater that run off electricity.

And for chillier nights in the great outdoors, YES there is a Furnace that runs off of propane.

Closet space to hang your garments and coats.

Closet space and drawers to store all your camping needs.

This RV is carpeted but I would recommend it be replaced and if so I think Hardwood flooring would suit it better

Outside

Several outdoor storage bins

Awning needs some attention (needs cleaning and has a very small hole)

There are flaws on all sides of the RV, scratches, dents . Nothing that a novice handy person could not tackle on your own.

The engine has just 100 000 miles on it. It probably could use a tune up but nothing major. The power steering pump leaks some, so I tend to fill it up regularly to keep it topped off.

I stored this RV in 2020 and because of Covid I have not used it since.

Stop on by to hear this thing run.

I have no idea what it might need for a saftey. Come check it out

If you want to save moneyThis RV is for You

Im sad to let this RV go but I’m downsizing to a camper van because I Solo Travel now.

I believe this RV is in Fair shape and with a bit of spit and polish you too will be able to enjoy it for years to come.

Because it needs a bit of work I believe the price reflects the true value of this RV

And more than likely one of the best RV’s for the price anywhere in Ontario.

I’m Asking only $4700 for a fast sale.

I believe its worth more but I want to get it sold so I can start working on my camper van. And hit the road on my next adventure.

If you would like a viewing, please email me and I will make an appointment with you to view this great RV. {e@uiw.ca}

Currently located in Windsor.

I’m confident this thing will sell fast given the current RV market is hot at the moment and the fact that RV season is upon us.

I am asking for a cash sale with no holds.

First come first sold.

Why I prefer a motorhome to a travel trailer.

I know that there have been many great debates around what form of travel is better. And I do believe there are pros and cons to each.

I enjoy the motorhome because of the indoor convenience.

When My wife and I were traveling around the continent one of the very first things i appreciated about this form of travel was access to the bathroom.

My wife needed to stop for restroom breaks at least every 2 hours. Sometimes when i was driving I would get into a groove and didn’t really want to stop. So having the option for my wife to just get up and use the facilities was perfect.

Also because I didn’t want to stop driving it was perfect for her to get up and get snacks or cold beverages. Even the times she would get up while i was driving and make me a sandwich. It was awesome!!!

Warning** I think I’m legally obligated to say that you should not rome around the inside of a motorhome while driving.**

Another thing I enjoy is the quick exit when needed. Yes there have been times when we have stopped for the night and things got weird. Its great when you are stopped at a Walmart parking lot and Weirdos pull in near you. Maybe loud or just plain disruptive. You can just climb into the driver seat and move along. No need to get out of your vehicle. Or interact with undesirables.

This is also the case in bad weather. When you wake up to rain you don’t need to leave your vehicle to start driving. Just drive away, dry as a bone and cool as a cucumber.

Just my opinion.

If you would like to share this listing I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
